Michael L. Steinberg, M.D., F.A.C.R
Michael Steinberg, M.D., fellow of the American College of Radiology. Dr. Steinberg is a clinical professor at the UCLA School of Medicine. In addition, he is chair of the Health Policy and Economics Council of the American Society of Therapeutic Radiology and Oncology and serves as a member of the Board of Directors of that organization. Dr. Steinberg is the Principle Investigator on a National Cancer Institute Disparity Grant and currently conducts health services quality research with the RAND Corporation.
Dr. Steinberg attended the University of Southern California where he earned his M.D. degree and completed specialty training in Radiation Oncology at UCLA. In addition, he is past president of the California Radiation Oncology Society and is a Councilor to the American College of Radiology. Dr. Steinberg is chairman of the Cancer Program at Santa Monica/UCLA Medical Center and is a member of the Physician Advisory Board for the Wellness Community in Santa Monica, California.
In addition to an active clinical practice, Dr. Steinberg currently conducts Health Services Quality research at the RAND Corporation in Santa Monica, California. He specializes in prostate cancer, head and neck cancer, gynecological cancer, and breast cancer.
In recognition of his contribution and professional leadership in the field of radiation oncology, Dr. Steinberg was elected Fellow of the American College of Radiology. Dr. Steinberg is a Chancellor of the American College of Radiation Oncology and is Chair of the Clinical Practice Committee of the American Society of Therapeutic Radiology and Oncology. In recognition of his superior medical skills, Dr. Steinberg was selected by his peers to be included in Best Doctors in America. |
