Uri M. Zisblatt, M.D.
Dr. Uri M. Zisblatt is a board certified specialist in Radiation Oncology and has been a member of Cancer Care Consultants Medical Associates since 1997. He is a native of Los Angeles and received his undergraduate education at UCLA. He attended the Albert Einstein College of Medicine of Yeshiva University in New York where he earned his medical degree.
He received specialty training in radiation oncology at Columbia-Presbyterian Medical Center and completed his sub-specialty medical training in a clinical fellowship with special emphasis in brachytherapy at the State University of New York – Downstate. Prior to joining Cancer Care Consultants Medical Associates, he worked at Stanford University’s satellite radiation oncology department in Fremont, CA.
Dr. Zisblatt is the Medical Director of the Department of Radiation Oncology at Citrus Valley Medical Center in Covina, CA. Under his direction, the department has expanded its use of the most recent technological advances in treating cancer. He is an active participant in medical staff administration, having served as chairman for the Department of Radiologic Health Science, member of the Medical Executive Committee, as well as chairman of Cancer Committee. He has extensive clinical experience in prostate brachytherapy and initiated one of the most active prostate permanent seed programs in the San Gabriel Valley. |
